Logo Design
For this project, I was tasked with designing an original brand and packaging designs for a donut company. Specifically, I was to design a three-pack of donuts with an attached coffee cup holder, and a single donut pack. Over the course of the process, I made use of several programs such as Illustrator, Photoshop, Dimension, and Fantastic Fold.
Branding
The concept I wanted to create was a high-end donut lounge that had an almost other worldly feel to it. I took inspiration from surrealist art and architecture as can be seen in the moodboard I started with. After drafting out sketches and deciding on a colour scheme, I created a logo for the donut business that I named “The Orb Donut Lounge”.
Dielines
Once I had the branding together, I moved onto exploring possible shapes for the dieline which I created in Illustrator and then exported to Fantastic Fold to test. When I was finally happy with the shape I moved on to creating the artwork and design of the packages. Afterwards, I exported them as 3D models to be used as mockups in Dimension.
